Will your digital business model change the life of tomorrow? Will it inspire the way we use energy in the future?
As the world is currently facing a massive energy challenge, we need to find smart solutions that provide answers to the climate change and the impending energy shortage. Therefore, the upcoming CODE_n Contest searches for IT based solutions, services and methods meeting the energy challenge, strengthening a more intensive use of renewable energy, increasing the energy efficiency, providing a smarter energy management.

More details about the Award:
The CODE_n Contest is structured by the following two categories:
Category 1 „Startup“: company founded, between 0-3 years old
Category 2 „Emerging company“: company founded, between 3-7 years old
The most innovative business models from each category will receive free exhibition space in a spectacular setting at CeBIT 2013. Out of these 50 start-ups or small and medium-sized enterprises one winner in each category will be selected by our renowned CODE_n jury. Both winners will receive prize money of 15.000 Euro each.
Two special prizes will be awarded:
Sponsored by Dell, the best business solution implemented on a Windows 8 mobile device (either tablet or ultrabook) will receive prize money of 10.000 Euro. The task: Use key application features delivered through the new operating system to create a datacenter management solution, project and workflow management or lifestyle integration.
Three German finalists will each get the opportunity to acquire private venture capital of up to 100.000 Euro via the crowdfunding platform Seedmatch.
